Grand Lake Resort

Just a mile-and-a-half from the entrance to Disney World, the resort is on the shores of a beautiful freshwater lake. On-site amenities include a tennis court, outdoor pool, and free paddle boats. There are several golf courses in the area. Other attractions include Cypress Gardens, Sea World, Universal Studios, Splendid China, and Church Street Station, which features cancan girls, hot-air balloons, restaurants, and live music. Does the certificate have an expiration date?

Yes, the certificate expires one year from the date of purchase.

When Can I use my certificate?

Once you register, you have up to one year to you use your certificate.

How far in advance do I need to make reservations?

Due to seasonal availability, the travel agent requires you to make your reservations at least 90 days in advance.

Are there any blackout dates?

No, there are no blackout dates.

What additional fees are involved?

You are responsible for paying departure taxes, hospitality fees and service fees totaling approximately $69.00 per person. Plus a $20 registration fee Hotel taxes are not included and are due upon arrival at the hotel at check in

How much are the hotel taxes?

Hotel taxes of between $6.00 - $16.00 per person, per night (depending on the season) are payable to the hotel upon check in.

The travel agency has the ability to fill airlines, cruise ships, and hotels that on average operate at 60%-70% occupancy. These certificates fill these unsold rooms. They are willing to subsidize a traveler because they will get the revenue from all the activities that you will do while at their resorts (food, drinks, gambling, etc.).  These hotels, cruises, and airlines would rather make a little money rather than lose money altogether.

Who do I contact to make reservations?

We use several different travel agents around the country to fulfill these vacations. Once you have registered, you will receive your vacation certificate. All phone numbers and means of contact will be listed on your vacation certificate. When your vacation certificate arrives, you simply call the travel agent listed on the certificate to make reservations. The travel agent will answer any questions you have about your travel arrangements and options.
